Description
As for the biological value of seawater, besides revealing its enormous microbiological richness, we highlight what this has to do with the biologisation of seawater minerals, which act as genuinely fertile soil. From the nutritional standpoint, we make clear that both seawater and whole salt bring to food the minerals the soil has been unable to provide, because of overexploitation and extremely poor fertilisation (NPK: 3 minerals instead of the more than 60 that plants draw from the earth). Seawater, therefore — whether in liquid form or as whole salt — is an indispensable food supplement for proper nutrition. And from the therapeutic standpoint we explain why and how returning to our body the minerals it lacks corrects the dysfunctions caused by those deficiencies. The aim of the three authors is none other than to give due value to the immense — and practically infinite — resource that is seawater. Each of them, of course, from their own point of view and speciality.
About the author: Mariano Arnal is a retired teacher, a graduate in classical languages and a lexicologist. He has spent twelve years studying and disseminating the properties and applications of seawater and is the author of How to drink seawater, The best salt: seawater and 7 days at sea without water or food, among others. He is co-founder and vice-president of Aqua Maris, a foundation whose purpose is to research and disseminate the therapeutic and nutritional properties of seawater, as well as new uses such as cosmetics, irrigation or cooking. Much of its effort also goes into making seawater a known, useful resource accessible to everyone
